Μother keyboard & stage piano. The SP4-7 has 76 semi-weighted keys, and their velocity response can be tailored to suit your playing style. Despite its high key-count, the SP4-7 is still surprisingly compact (possibly as compact as a 76-note keyboard can be, at just 110cm long and under 30cm deep), and so should find favour with gigging pianists who value portability. Other specs include four programmable zones for splits and layers, 16-part multitimbrality, 64 voices of polyphony, and 128 user slots (in addition to the 128 factory sounds), allowing you to quickly save and recall your own presets. Both analogue and digital outputs are present, in the form of a headphone out, balanced stereo line-level outputs, and an S/PDIF output, which is internally clocked at 48kHz. Both the line and headphone outputs come from 24-bit D-A converters.
